As any guitarist will tell you, there is a strange relationship between the player and the instrument. Many believe that the instrument chooses the player. I certainly know that the guitar writes the song. Here are my three.

Brook Taw
This is what started me playing again. Simon and Andy at Brook Guitars in Devon, make wonderful guitars by hand out of superb wood—and all in a long low building hidden down a long path over a silver stream.

Mine has a cedar top, rosewood back and sides with mahogany neck and ebony fingerboard. It is an OM size and is fitted with a Fishman Matrix Infinity pick-up.

Lowden 032-12

My 12 string is a Northern Irish guitar made by George Lowden. Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, mahogany neck, rosewood fingerboard and sycamore bindings. It's the size of a bus and sounds like an orchestra! Fitted with Fishman Rare Earth pick-up.

Old Friend

My 1975 Ovation Glen Campbell Signature is now my back-up. Beautiful instrument and even better now it is older.
